Southport Waterfront
City of Southport Parks and Recreation areas are plentiful:  Southport Community Building overlooking the Cape Fear River offers brides and grooms the perfect backdrop for gorgeous wedding photos. Fort Johnston Southport Museum and Visitors Center is a great place to begin your adventure into Southport's History and Movie fame. Stretch in a yoga class offered at the Southport Jaycee Building or play a game of basketball in the Southport City Gym.  Play tennis, enjoy a relaxing picnic next to an 800 year old Oak Tree in Keziah Park, watch transoceanic ships pass by at Kingsley or Waterfront Park.  Stroll a walking trail at Lowe-White Memorial Park or enjoy a concert or arts/craft show in Franklin Square Park.   City of Southport Parks & Recreation 910.457-7945.
